Taoglas has developed an External Magnetic Mount Active antenna range as part of our Dominator GPS/Glonass antenna series that have been exclusively optimized for the latest combination GPS/Glonass receivers.
The Dominator AA.161 is the acknowledged performance leader in GPS/Glonass antennas. It is a combined GPS/Glonass magnet mount antenna which incorporates unique high gain wide-band 35mm patch antenna technology on a large integral ground plane. It delivers maximum performance at GPS and Glonass centre frequencies by using a new double resonance design. This antenna has a wide input voltage range 1.8V~5.5V in an IP67 housing. Another unique feature is an exclusive in-house developed wide-band front end SAW to reduce out of band noise. Traditional SAW filters used by our competitors that were developed for GPS don't have the bandwidth to filter out of band noise at the new extended Glonass frequencies.
The antenna has been rated and benchmarked by the leading GPS/Glonass receiver module and chipset companies as best in industry.
