IoT Forum: Embedded SIM

What
The Telecom Council of Silicon Valley is where Telecom meets Innovation. Join decision makers from throughout the ecosystem at our upcoming discussion on Embedded SIM (eSIM) - from Directors of Business Development to the VPs of Innovation and Ventures. Telecom Council roundtable discussions provide a unique opportunity for telecom and wireless decision makers to network with decision makers in the space, review some new technologies, contribute to the discussion, and get answers from topic experts! eSIM has long been desired by the equipment manufacturers, in particular those focused on M2M and IoT. The reason is, with a programmable SIM card, the same SKU of hardware can be shipped to many different regions, and can then be connected to any of the local operators without requiring human intervention to install a SIM card. And even with the advent of micro and nano SIMs, they still take up more space than an eSIM. The removable mechanism, access door, and tray alone take up incremental space in the smallest mobile devices.
