Taoglas embraces new technologies, manufacturing techniques and introduces smart-materials that enhance component and device performance and help reducetime to market and costs. Alongside our traditional manufacturing methods, we have introduced Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) manufacturing and new materials, for example, Terrablast, used instead of traditional ceramic antennas where impact resistance and weight is an issue. Additionally, Taoglas never compromises on quality and we are ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified. All of our products meet ROHS & Reach compliance.

The Design Process

If you require a customised antenna solution, we have extensive experience in the design and production of a wide range of bespoke antenna solutions for a variety of applications. From the very beginning of your project, our engineering team will work with you to evaluate your requirements. We then conceptualize a working solution and produce a functioning sample antenna to integrate and optimize within your device. With the use of our production supply lines and rapid prototyping, we can quickly deliver this design, which is then tested and evaluated for RF performance, DFM (Design For Manufacture) and DFA (Design For Assembly). Once the RF solution has been determined, our team will work closely with you to ensure the finished product is refined and providing the optimal performance for your device.

Design Resources

Using the latest 3D and 2D design software, our engineering team design, control and manage projects throughout their life cycle. To effortlessly integrate and simulate, Taoglas is delighted to provide our customers with files for our standard product range, which they can use to facilitate the integration of the antenna into their device. Taoglas provides several design file formats for the various levels of integration such as 2D drawings (DXF/PDF), 3D models (STEP), and PCB files (Altium and CST) now with newly added antenna simulation files.
