They’re a crucial part of any RF design as they’re the most simple, inexpensive and obvious way to filter out unwanted signals from entering an application.

What can Taoglas do for you?

What makes a filter “good” or “bad” is difficult to define because the question really should be “good for what?” or “bad for what?”. 
With tens of thousands of successful IoT/M2M hardware and software projects globally since 2004, Taoglas understands that a particular filter may be considered great for one application and terrible for another.
For example, at times it might make sense to sacrifice some in-band performance for better out of band rejection. Other applications might require very low insertion loss to keep receiver Noise Figure at a minimum, while not requiring such high out of band rejection or a steeper rejection rolloff curve. 
At Taoglas, we utilize our deep understanding of the RF component design and manufacturing process to provide high-quality, small-form-factor, cost-effective and easy-to-implement RF filters.

Having a lack of RF filtering can affect the performance of your application by reducing the communication range or producing interference, this often causes certification failures so if your application is not meeting the expected performance you should consider adding an RF filter to your design.

The Airvu Series of high-performance band-pass filters are passive, providing low insertion loss with high attenuation levels close to the passband, ensuring there is little loss of signal power. 

Taoglas’ cost-effective filters are designed to use a small footprint so they can be utilised in today’s compact devices where space is at a premium. Our bandpass filters use LGA bottom terminations for reduced PCB footprint in highly integrated packages.
