Antenna mounts do more than just affix antennas to vehicles, vending machines, digital signage, rooftops, or shipping containers. They can also protect the antenna and help maximize both the reliability and performance of the applications that depend on it.
In this exclusive webinar, Olivier Robin, Chief Operations Officer, Kevin Blakeley, Head of Aerospace and Defense (Marine Corp Veteran), and Sam McCarthy, VP EMEA Sales, share expert insights on multi-band GNSS antenna performance and best practices for integration in Aerospace and Defense applications.
Over 70% of the Earth’s surface is oceans, seas, and other waterways. So it’s no surprise that there’s an enormous market for GNSS applications focused on marine and maritime use cases, from navigation to asset tracking. And each of those applications have one thing in common: They require a high-quality antenna.
Are you developing a solution that requires centimeter-level accuracy? Would you like to learn how to leverage Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) technology to maximize GNSS precision?

Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technologies are a subset of LTE designed for IoT applications that prioritize low hardware costs, ultra-long battery life, and global coverage. Most LPWA technologies are designed for low-bandwidth applications, such as asset trackers, pet trackers, utility meters, and agricultural sensors.
The exception is Cat 1 bis, which is designed for IoT applications that need faster uplink and downlink speeds.
In this exclusive webinar, industry leaders Baha Badran, Head of Engineering at Taoglas, Imad Mikaiel, Product Marketing Director at Sequans Communications, and Nicolas Lesconnec, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Soracom, provide valuable insights on how to develop and deploy IoT projects using Cat 1bis.
The antenna ground plane is a key component in cellular and global navigation satellite system (GNSS) devices. It plays a major role in the performance and reliability of both the device and all of the applications that run on it. That means it also directly affects the revenue potential for the device and applications because consumers and enterprises will churn if their expectations aren’t met.
But how do ground planes work and what should you consider?

Drones, precision agriculture, and autonomous vehicles are just some applications that require higher accuracy than standard GNSS. One option is the L-Band, which is home to data services that augment GNSS signals to maximize granularity down to the cm-level.
It’s important to note that this L-Band runs from 1525 MHz to 1560 MHz and is not the same as GNSS signals that share the same letter.
In our newest Engineering Explained blog, our expert team discusses leveraging the L-Band to balance accuracy and affordability for GNSS Applications. Want to learn more?

The RJ45 connector is one of the oldest and most common interfaces for network cabling, so over 100 Taoglas products include an RJ45 port. It’s ubiquitous in telecom and IT because it’s at the end of Ethernet cables, which were originally used in Data Centers to connect servers, routers, and switches.
If you’re wondering where to start when it comes to RJ45 connectors, our latest engineering blog breaks it down for you, offering the Ultimate Guide to Usage, Components and Functionality.
What’s the difference between 4G and LTE?
LTE stands for “Long Term Evolution.” The history and vision behind that name are worth learning to understand why not all LTE devices and devices are 4G. The LTE backstory is also helpful when choosing the next generation of mobile technology, from 5G to 6G and beyond.
To help clarify these terms, our engineering team has created a comprehensive blog that explains the terminology and technology involved.
As the demand for smaller, lighter, and more efficient GNSS antennas continues to grow, it is essential to stay ahead in antenna design and manufacturing.
Our blog explores how we leverage innovative new manufacturing technologies to ensure high performance, even with complex form factors.
