The complaint alleges violations of the Defend Trade Secrets Act, violations of the California Uniform Trade Secrets Act, breach of contract, intentional interference with contract, and patent infringement.

The complaint alleges that Taoglas has an extensive patent portfolio, and that 2J is infringing two patents in particular: U.S. Patent No. 10,135,129 entitled “Low-cost ultra wideband LTE antenna” and U.S. Patent No. 10,103,451 entitled “Flexible Polymer Antenna With Multiple Ground Resonators.”

The complaint seeks to protect Taoglas’ trade secrets against misappropriation that relate to many aspects of its business, including (1) technical information, (2) custom antenna solutions,(3) customer information, (4) sourcing information, and (5) pricing information.
