SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Taoglas USA, Inc, a provider of antenna solutions to the M2M and IoT market, today launched two new high-performance 2×2 LTE MIMO antennas. Called “Genesis,” the MA240 and MA241 antennas support full global cellular 3G and 4G LTE coverage, with the MA240 also including GNSS.

The Genesis antennas are particularly suited to M2M applications such as transportation, remote monitoring, business continuity and contingency planning. The Genesis antennas have high efficiency and the high gain necessary to achieve the required signal-to-noise ratio and throughput to meet demands for high-speed data uplink and downlink. They meet the isolation and envelope correlation co-efficient (ECC) guidelines to maximize MIMO radio throughput. Also included are high-quality, robust low-loss cables in order to keep the entire wireless system optimized for high-quality transmission, reception, throughput and speed.

“They are ideally suited to vendors that can’t use a through-hole-mounted antenna for security reasons but still need to be connected to the 4G LTE network. They are also well-suited to the business continuity market for industry applications that can’t afford a minute of down time.”

The MA240 and MA241 are external, adhesive-mount antennas that allow for easy installation such as inside a kiosk or ATM.
