Advantech and Taoglas join forces to transform IoT and M2M products
Taoglas antennas now standard components in Advantech’s portfolio for IoT, M2M and Smart Cities.
Taoyuan City, Taiwan – Taoglas antennas are now a standard addition for Advantech’s In-vehicle computers (Mobile Data Terminals: MDTs), thanks to both companies’ shared focus on ultra-high performance, multi-frequency connectivity, and the ability to meet global customer requirements for fast time-to-market and reliability.
Embedded hardware solutions that combine Taoglas’ antennas are now available for a vast scope of vertical markets ranging from fleet management, automotive, industrial, telemetry, mining, to wireless gateways that are the building blocks of new IoT, M2M, and Smart Cities solutions fulfilled by the world’s largest semiconductor providers and “smart business” integrators. Advantech, the Taiwan-headquartered global supplier of embedded and automation products and solutions, is a known market leader in industrial computers that are at the heart of smart cities and the IoT industry. Advantech’s cumulative consolidated sales revenues from January to November in 2015 were US$1.15 billion.
