FXP30x and PC30x Series from Taoglas Combine Cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi in Compact PCB Antennas

San Diego, CA, 25 March 2026 – Taoglas®, a trusted provider of advanced RF and antenna solutions, today announced the FXP30x and PC30x series of high-performance embedded combination antennas, a new family of compact antennas designed to support cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi® connectivity for space-constrained electronic devices. Both series enable engineers to integrate multiple wireless technologies within a single antenna, reducing device component count while simplifying device design, speeding up assembly times and accelerating time-to-market.

The new portfolio includes six antenna models across two form factors: the FXP30x flexible PCB antenna series and the PC30x rigid FR4 PCB antenna series. Both families support cellular frequencies from 600 MHz to 8000 MHz, enabling global connectivity across multiple wireless standards.

The FXP30x series is built on Taoglas’ flexible polymer antenna technology, combining high radiation efficiency, ground-plane independence and ultra-thin construction suitable for installation inside compact device enclosures. The antennas feature peel-and-stick adhesive backing for secure mounting on non-metal surfaces such as plastic housings or glass, while flexible PCB construction allows installation in tight internal spaces where rigid antennas may not fit.

The PC30x series provides the same connectivity options in a rigid PCB antenna built on an FR4 substrate, offering a mechanically stable alternative for applications where the antenna can be mounted directly inside the device enclosure either by adhesive backing or plastic screws.

Each antenna is supplied with a pre-assembled cable and I-PEX MHF® I connector. The cables are supplied in different colors to ensure accurate connections for variants that require longer cables, enabling straightforward integration with wireless modules.

The FXP30x and PC30x families each include three antenna configurations designed to support smart radio modules with different combinations of wireless technologies with a single embedded antenna:

  • FXP301 and PC301 variants integrate cellular and GNSS connectivity, supporting GNSS operation across L1, B1I, G1 and L-Band frequencies alongside wideband cellular coverage.
  • FXP302 and PC302 variants combine cellular connectivity with Wi-Fi across the 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz and 7.125 GHz bands.
  • FXP303 and PC303 variants integrate all three GNSS, cellular and Wi-Fi technologies for devices requiring positioning, global connectivity and local wireless networking.

The high-efficiency antennas feature strong peak gain while maintaining compact footprints suitable for embedded integration. The flexible FXP variants allow installation in curved or tight internal spaces, while the rigid PC variants provide a robust mounting solution in devices where a rigid PCB antenna is preferred.

The FXP30x and PC30x series are suitable for a wide range of connected systems, including asset-tracking devices, telematics and e-mobility platforms, smart agriculture equipment, connected healthcare systems, industrial IoT devices and wearable electronics where multiple wireless technologies must be supported within limited internal space.

“Many connected devices now require multiple radios operating simultaneously, which puts pressure on available space inside the enclosure,” said David Connolly, Global Product Management Director at Taoglas. “The FXP30x and PC30x combination series help designers support cellular, GNSS and Wi-Fi while reducing antenna count and simplifying integration.”

The FXP30x and PC30x series antennas are available now from Taoglas and its authorized distributors.
