Industry podcast explores behind-the-scenes stories with antenna gurus

San Diego, CA – January 21, 2026 – Antennas remain one of the most critical and frequently misunderstood elements of connected device design, with performance issues often only becoming apparent once products are deployed in real-world environments. Rarely is the importance of antennas to any product thought of or discussed, yet the industry is full of experts who have been crucial to the success of many technology projects. Dermot O’Shea, CEO of antenna specialist Taoglas, has launched a podcast to meet and get to know some of these experts better.
The Antenna Podcast features in-depth conversations with senior industry executives, leading academics, and engineers and practitioners working at the forefront of antenna design and innovation. Episodes focus on asking the guest how they got into the antenna business, some of their successes since, advice for any budding antenna engineers, and there is also a deep dive into a technical topic.
The podcast centers on experience-led discussion, drawing on the perspectives of some of the most respected figures in the field who are shaping the future of antenna and wireless system design. New episodes are released monthly.
