Taoglas Raptor MAX Series

Up to 16-in-1 Combination Antenna

The Taoglas Raptor MAX series solves this by integrating up to 16 antenna elements into a single, rugged, low-profile enclosure. 

Designed specifically for vehicle rooftops, the Raptor MAX series dramatically simplifies installation, reduces costs, and eliminates cable clutter while maximizing performance across mission-critical wireless systems. Whether you’re deploying in dense urban areas or remote rural environments, Raptor MAX series ensures strong, reliable connections on the move. 

The IP67-rated housing is built from UV protected, impact-resistant ABS and is safe for high-pressure washes and ideal for demanding conditions. Its modular whip system also gives you the flexibility to tailor frequency support to your specific communications needs.

Integration

Proper installation of the Raptor MAX series antenna is essential to maintain the waterproof integrity of the vehicle or enclosure and to ensure optimal performance across all antenna elements. Typical Integration Steps:

  • 1. Mounting Location: The Raptor MAX antenna is secured via a 30 mm diameter threaded mounting stud. In many cases, it can be installed in the vehicle's existing OEM antenna location. If this is not available, a 30 mm hole will need to be drilled in the roof.

  • 2. Surface Preparation: Clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure a secure seal. Route the cables through the hole in the roof.

  • 3. Antenna Placement: Remove the 3M adhesive backing from the base of the antenna. Position the antenna in the desired orientation and press firmly into place.

  • 4. Securing the Antenna: From inside the vehicle, slide the washer and nut over the cable bundle and tighten to secure the antenna firmly to the roof.
