The Taoglas EDGE Locate solution is a energy efficient IoT platform that provides high precision GNSS location for both large scale and niche navigation and autonomous applications in an off-the-shelf, compact form factor. The EDGE™ Locate combines a GNSS L1/L2/E5b/B2b antenna, RF electronics and receiver technology in a single package delivering reliable, high accuracy positioning.

With Taoglas EDGE™ Locate, enterprises can future-proof their IoT deployments and optimize location-based performance with multi-band GNSS technology and optional RTK capabilities, providing cm-level accuracy when using RTK.

What is RTK?

Real-Time Kinematic or RTK is a complex satellite navigation correctional technique that enhances the precision of position data from satellite-based positioning systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou. When used in conjunction with a high-performing antenna, the system allows for cm-level positional accuracy compared to standard GNSS systems. The success of mission-critical services such as emergency response, smart infrastructure, precision agriculture, and reliable e-mobility services is built on high precision services.
